Suggested Prenup Location For Philippine-Based Couples

3 May

Here’s a list of  locations that you can use for your prenup shoot. This list isn’t my own though. I just compiled them from the Weddings@Work forum.

1.) UP Diliman – open university for all. Shoot in the Sunken Garden or any of the buildings. Shooting inside the buildings itself will require you to secure a permit though.

2.) La Mesa Eco Park – for all the greens. Permission needed from their office via written letter but the fee is just the regular entrance fee.

3.) Pan de Amerikana (in Marikina) – known for the giant chess pieces (life-size!) and the vintage 1950′s American look. Contact them via their multiply: http://pandeamerikana.multiply.com/

4.) Sunken Garden Muntinlupa- World War 2 vintage artifacts, scenery is all grass and hills

5.) Firing Range Bilibid Prisons Muntinlupa

6.) Jardin de Padre Blanco in Intramuros-Period turn of the Century Setting

7.) Pugad Lawin Villamor Airbase and Golf Club

8.) Villamor Airbase Open Air Museum- vintage planes

9.) San Juan Vintage Car Museum

10.) Lakeshore Pampanga – 2,000 pesos for a Prenup shoot, inclusive of 500 pesos consumable food (At their resto), use the entire facility like Lake, Island, Bike and boat ride, lighthouse access and most of all… You can shoot. (Thought entrance is free, but you will be prohibited to shoot, even if for personal use).

11.) There’s also this really old church in Boso-Boso in Antipolo.

Outside of the box; anywhere there is a street tiangge.

12.) Corregidor — World War II ruins, relics (especially the giant cannons) and monuments; http://www.corregidorphilippines.com

13.) bonifacio high street – just get a permission from their head office. the fee is 2k or 3k. not really sure

14.) greenbelt(ayala) – just get a permission from their head office

15.) Quezon City Circle – For nature lovers and street photography type. They already renovated the place.

16.) Parks and Wildlife sa Quezon City – Di ko lang alam kung kailangan ng permit.

42. Intramuros Church and immediate surroundings – if you like the old Spanish architecture

Intramuros – 2K fee plus you have to secure a permit from the Intramuros

Admin

RCBC Building, Ayala Ave – you need to write a letter to the general manager. I don’t think there’s a fee

  8. Glenn November 24, 2011 at 12:39 AM #

Hi everyone, we’re going to have our prenup this coming sunday Nov. 27, 2011. Just wanted to ask you guys if you have an idea if do we still need get a permit to shoot at MOA? Thank you so much in advance and hope to hear your response before the week ends.

    glen

    • Micah November 24, 2011 at 8:14 AM #

Hi Glen. From what I know if within the grounds of MOA yung shoot and masyadong obvious that you are having one, you’ll need to secure a permit and you also have to pay a fee. Ask ka na lang sa office ng SM for further details. Good luck on your prenup shoot :)

      • gmanghi November 24, 2011 at 10:12 AM #

Thanks Micah for your immediate response. Dun sana kami sa likod ng MOA yung sa childrens playground dun at zip line ng mga 8AM. Sorry but I don’t have any idea kasi kung ano yung mga ginagamit ng isang photographer during prenup shoot, aside from camera. I don’t know if it’s going to be obvious. Please advise… :)

      • Micah November 24, 2011 at 10:28 PM #

If doon sa SMB by the Bay pwede yata na wala ng fee. Just be discreet about the shoot. Ito yung mga signs na obvious na you’re doing a prenup shoot at baka sitahin kayo ng guard and hanapan ng permit.

        1. if you have 2 or more photographer plus lightsman
        2. if you’re fully made-up and glammed up
        3. if mukhang pro yung gamit ng photog niyo like maraming equipments na dala (diff lenses, tripod, lighting equipment, flash)

kahit sa baywalk area and PICC grounds na free ang photoshoot sinisita na rin if obvious masyado.

If simple lang naman ang concept niyo, just wear casual clothes tapos kahit one photog lang tapos kwentuhan lang kayo na parang friends para pag tinanong kayo just say na nag-pi-picture lang kayo and hindi professional shoot yun. I don’t know if that’ll work though ;)

  9. kristine December 8, 2011 at 3:44 AM #

please do you have any idea if there’s any pre nup fee in Pan de Amerikana in Marikina?? please let me know.. and if you know their email address do send it to me please.. we’re currently working abroad and were looking for a place for a good shoot when we get home.. Thank you

    • Micah December 9, 2011 at 2:59 AM #

Hi kristine. There’s no prenup fee. Just order a significant amount of food as a courtesy to the establishment

    • gmanghi December 9, 2011 at 11:20 AM #

      Hi Kristine,

I called Pan De Amerikana few months ago to ask their permission to have a prenup shoot to their place, and the manager said it’s okay there’s no need for permit. But they don’t entertain such activities during weekends. Hope this will help :)

  10. kristine December 11, 2011 at 12:47 AM #

great then, Thanks for the info. ^_^

  11. Regel December 16, 2011 at 2:51 PM #

  15. Solomon February 17, 2012 at 9:29 AM #

Am based in Dubai and am travelling tp philiphines for my pre nups what the best single location to shoot…especially if I want to combine beach theme and nature..

    Kindest regards

    Solomon

    • Micah February 17, 2012 at 5:54 PM #

Hi Solomon. I suggest you have your prenup shoot in a beach resort or the likes. We have a lot of beautiful resorts in the Batangas area. It’s very near Manila, just an hour or 2 away from the airport. You can check Acuatico Beach Resort or Punta Fuego. Both have websites, just google them up. Or another good but farther option is Anvaya Cove, it has a website too plus it’s an exclusive and private resort.

    Ante

Permit is not required to have a photoshoot in the UP Diliman campus. But if you will enter any of the buildings, you have to secure a permit.

  19. Jude Martinez May 4, 2012 at 10:06 AM #

    • Micah May 21, 2012 at 9:42 PM #

Hi glenn! I gather you want some place that speaks nature? I think La Mesa Ecopark in QC will be a good and cheap venue. You may also do your prenup in UP Diliman grounds. Basta any place with a lot of greenery or yung medyo woods yung feel :)

    • Micah September 3, 2012 at 8:21 AM #

    • Micah May 21, 2013 at 8:00 AM #

You can check out the Manila Yacht Club along Roxas blvd. I’m not sure re permit and fees but I believe you have to be endorsed by a member of the club :)

  40. subicbayphotographysociety May 30, 2013 at 10:31 PM #

IMO, Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBFZ) is the most ideal out of town location for a prenup shoot. Not only it has a rich green forest as a background but you also have the beautiful blue sea as well.

Another location in SBFZ that most people don’t know about is the El Kabayo Riding Stable. It is located away from the road, so no motor vehicles to worry about during shoots nor electrical wires hanging above.

El Kabayo Riding Stable in SBFZ is different from the one located in Clark Freeport Zone (CFZ) in Angeles, Pampanga. Unlike in SBFZ, the one in Clark is located near the road and comparatively small than
    the one in Subic Bay.

One can also do prenup shoot during visit on other attractions that Subic Bay Freeport Zone offers.
